It seems that modal logic asks the possibility. I thought logic was a search for truth,This is the usual “Yes I can.” But it seems different. The logic is “Yes, that is possible.” That is, “it doesn’t really exist, but it may exist.”
“Possible world theory” evolved from modal logic, and it is easy to understand in multidimensional cosmology like the movie “The One” about 20 years ago. The truth of “If I hadn’t eaten udon, I would have eaten buckwheat.” is true if I didn’t eat udon in all infinite universes except this universe. .. It seems that even if one person eats food other than buckwheat, for example, curry, it is considered false.
It may differ depending on whether the universe is considered finite or infinite. I was worried that if I set it as infinite as time, all the possibilities could be denied and false. By the way, in the movie, the setting was 125 finite.
When the possibilities go away, only reality is true. Modal logic seems to be surreal oriented. For the past two months, I’ve been thinking every day if I hadn’t had Corona … but God would have taught me that it was useless to think about it. we have no choice but to move forward.
By the way, I started to think about the possibility of the existence of God, but it seems better not to continue thinking.
